BACKGROUND

Lorie Blair has a strong background in management, having worked as an IT project manager at AT&T for more than 30 years. She was also managing editor at Elite News, one of Dallas’ oldest minority-owned newspapers.

Lorie Blair has always taken a strong interest in community involvement. She is a Member of the City of Dallas Planning Commission, and she is Vice Chair of the City of Dallas Zoning Ordinance Advisory Committee. She is also on the Board of the Bishop Arts Theatre Center.
